Editorial Reviews:

Description
Something's rotten on the planet Ne'Holland! Young Prince Erik is the sole survivor of a brutal coup against the royal family. The King's dying order makes Dylan and Tyr co-regents to Erik. Under these very dissimilar tutors, the prince learns diplomacy and cunning to defeat his enemies.

"Bunker Hill" (Episode 211)
The oppressive Dragans tighten their grip, but the universe fights back! Persuaded by beautiful Elsbett, Dylan agrees to fight the Dragans in alliance with the Sabra-Jaguar Pride. Meanwhile, Harper and Rommie head for Earth to help Harper's cousin in a courageous revolution against Dragan slavers.

"Ouroboros" (Episode 212)
A machine designed to rid Harper of the Magog larvae wrecks havoc on Andromeda by jumbling space and time. Past, present, and future collide, causing sudden appearances of Dylan's old crew, alien attackers, and most mysterious… a Future Trance, older, wiser and much more dangerous!

"Lava and Rockets" (Episode 213)
When Dylan's commerce trip is ambushed by ferocious Ogami hit men, he hijacks a tourist starship to escape. The novice tour guide is Molly - a beautiful ace pilot. The action's hot as Dylan and Molly head for a volcanic planet to escape… and discover each other on the way.

"Be All My Sins Remembered" (Episode 214)
When Beka learns that a former lover has died and listed her as next of kin, Dylan and Harper accompany her for "moral support." Harper remembers the "dearly departed" as a scoundrel, but as Beka reminisces about her violent sweetheart, he turns out to be… not… quite… dead.

4 out of 5 stars A great show   September 24, 2003

All great episodes. Another great Andromeda collection.

"Ouroboros" is probably the best episode on these DVD's. The main reason is the new Trance. I liked the old Trance, but the future Trance is so much better. I was kind of getting tired of the purple look.

5 out of 5 stars Another Great Andromeda set   August 19, 2003

I'm waiting for the next one, as I didn't catch it on first-run TV. These get better and better and better.

5 out of 5 stars All solid episodes   July 25, 2003

These eposides are a nice midseason touch, especially when the new Trance shows up. The extras are better than usual and the picture/sound is dead on. The thing about this set of episodes is you see that the Andromeda will not have and easy future ahead if you read the hints right. Seeing a basically machine Beka and having a gold Trance show up saying things are not going well tells you that. There are also even more alliances formed and you see Rommie get more emotions to name a few things. You have to check out the interview with Laura Bertram, very cool and the bloopers are nice. Reccomended set for any fan of the show.

5 out of 5 stars Clarification   July 20, 2003

The Editorial Review for this DVD is misleading. The DVD actually contains Season 2, episodes 210 through 214. The Editorial Review alludes to episode 210, "The Prince," but doesn't list it by number. On the copy I got, episodes 210-214 *are* all there.

As for an actual review, if you like Andromeda, and are collecting Andromeda DVDs, this is a must-have. A lot of plotlines pivotal to Season 2 are continued or even completed in this set. I highly recommend it to fans of Andromeda, particularly fans of the first two seasons, where the plot lines were carried over from episode to episode. This is the middle of Season 2, when the show was still getting better and better. For the record, Andromeda has made me a HUGE fan of Keith Hamilton Cobb, who plays Tyr, and I intend to follow his future endeavors closely. What a talent!

5 out of 5 stars Still The Best!!!!   July 19, 2003

All these episodes are great, I really liked "Bunker Hill" because it shows the uprisings on Earth against the tyranic Drago-Kazov. I also like "Bunker Hill" because Elsbett Mossadim (now Elsbett Bolivar) returns to the show. I liked "Ouroboros" because there is something happening in every scene. This is a very good episode, it's a shame that Robert Hewitt Wolfe left the show after this. "Lava and Rockets" is good because it adds a new alien race, the Ogami. This is a good show, but it slides a little downward in season 3. So enjoy this show while it is still great. I hope the Magog invasion will be in season 4!!!!
