Highlander - entire series January 7, 2009 Elora Dannon (San Diego, CA USA) I did receive all 6 seasons, however the box appeared to be resealed and was not completely filled so there may have been an additional special feature originally in the box. In addition to the 6 seasons of Highlander, I also received Highlander the Raven which would have been great except that as I did not know it would be included, I had already ordered it separately. I am very happy with the product that I received.

It is "true" to the original Highlander movie concept (not like the horrible sequels - 2 in particular).
Highlander the Series November 29, 2008 Braveheart (California) If you like Highlander, you'll like the DVD collection. The interviews, deleted scenes and bloopers are an interesting bonus; it's always fun to look behind the camera. If you calculated viewing hours per dollar, it's a bargain.
Great Series, Not Just For the Sci-Fi Fan - Recommended October 31, 2008 CFH (Blue Ridge Summit, PA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The "Highlander Series" is simply fantastic and well worth the money for the set. The series follows the life of an immortal, Duncan MacLeod of the clan MacLeod (kinsman to Lambert's character in the original Highlander). There is a strong "Good vs Evil", "Right vs Wrong" theme that runs through the entire series. Having the characters behave in a realist and consistent manner episode to episode really added to the believability and enjoyability of the series. When a character deviated it was usually for a good reason and added to the plot. The show feels only slightly dated, but the strong plot lines and great action more than compensate. Like any series, it certainly has a few "slower" episodes but, by and large, every episode is enjoyable if for no other reason than the well costumed "flashbacks" and inevitable "big fight". Adrian Paul was a perfect fit for the part of Duncan, being a decent actor, "very good looking" (according to my teenage daughter), being in great physical shape, and pulling off very challenging fight scenes. Highly recommended!
Waited a long time for this October 10, 2008 Warren D. Goldshine Having experienced the "fair" video quality of the VHS version, I had been looking forward to the DVD transfer. While I think the transfer to DVD was well done, there appear to have been some manufacturing issues. The playback of several DVDs in the set either froze or were scrambled and the only way to get around them was to skip to the next chapter and use rewind to back up (carefully) to the problem location and restart from there. Season 6 was the worst of the sets. Unfortunately, the vendor who sold me my set (YOULIKETHAT) continually promised to replace the defective DVDs right up to the 90 day Amazon "guarantee" limit and then quit responding to my inquiries so be careful who you buy these from. That said, if you are a Highlander series fan, I believe you will fully enjoy the DVD version including the "extras."
